Association for Spirituality and Psychology
ASP was formed in 1997 in response to the rapidly growing interest in the relationship between spirituality and psychotherapy. It was the first center of this kind within a major psychotherapy and psychoanalytic training institute, the National Institute for the Psychotherapies. The ASP has members from a wide range of health fields and holds educational events, trainings and conferences.

Ashes and
Snow
An astounding exhibition of the photographs
of Gilbert Colbert. Colbert's work presents
the relationship of human beings with animals
in a breathtaking series of pictures of people
meditating, dancing and swimming with elephants,
leopards, falcons, sperm whales, manatees and
other large mammals. In addition, there is a
one-hour video of these human-animal interactions.
The exhibit is housed, currently in New York
City, in a specially designed "nomadic
museum", first constructed in Venice and
dismantled and moved with the exhibit as it
travels the world.

Riverkeeper
For over 35 years, Riverkeeper and its predecessor
organization have been watchdogs for the health
and protection of the Hudson River.
Our mission is to safeguard the ecological
integrity of the Hudson River, its tributaries
and the watershed of New York City (protecting
the city's drinking water supply) by tracking
down and stopping polluters. Since 1983, Riverkeeper
has investigated and brought to justice more
than 300 environmental lawbreakers. Riverkeeper
believes in the rights of every citizen to enjoy
and defend our nation's water resources.

Clearwater
The Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, Inc. is
a story of people who have given of themselves
as members, as supporters and as volunteers
- people who have dreams for a better world
and an unwavering belief that, as individuals,
we can make a difference in bringing about a
cleaner, safer world for ourselves and future
generations. Clearwater conducts environmental
education, advocacy programs and celebrations.
The nucleus of the activities is to protect
the Hudson River, its tributaries and related
water bodies, and to create public awareness
of the estuary’s complex relationship
with the coastal zone. A magnificent natural
design blending the freshwater streams of the
Adirondacks with the salt tides of the Atlantic,
the Hudson is a prime example of an estuary’s
ecosystem that, as a type, ranks second only
to rain forests in biological productivity.
